Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

Few reviewers talk about how the Super Duty trucks look, except to say that they are big.  Of more interest to buyers is likely the exterior features on the Super Duty that help control cargo.  An available military-grade bedliner can be ordered from the factory, and reviewers like the optional bed extender and standard hitch receiver.

  • "Given the importance of towing capability to the Super Duty mission, the receiver is a standard feature any owner can appreciate. -- Kelley Blue Book
  • "The Super Duty's bulk is well-proportioned, even on short-bed models. . . . For commercial customers, there's a pickup-box-delete option, so custom service bodies can be adapted to the chassis." -- Cars.com
  • "The Ford Super Duty offers an imposing presence with its big grille, deep bumper, and stacked lamps with the headlights on the bottom. Its exterior dimensions can easily be given in yards rather than inches, and the sheer vastness of the sheetmetal can seem overwhelming when it's time to wash it." -- Autobytel
