Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The 2009 Ford Taurus wore forgettable sheet metal.  That can't be said of the 2010 edition.  Its muscular, creased design has a presence few other affordable large cars can match.  Reviewers are almost universally in love with its aggressive look.

  • "One thing becomes immediately clear from the moment you clap eyes on the new variant - despite being based on the same D3 platform as the outgoing Five Hundred/Taurus sleeping pill, this is a radically different and altogether more confident and cohesive design." -- Autoblog
  • "This new Taurus is far more modern and dynamic, some say almost European in design. I'll say it just looks good, and this has been achieved without sacrificing size or practicality." -- Road and Track
  • "The new lower profile is a plus and the Taurus has a raked stance that makes it look faster when it is parked." -- Fortune
  • "There's more character in the body sides, an attractive evolution of Ford's corporate three-bar grille up front, and a graceful swoop to the roofline." -- Car and Driver
