GMC covers the 2012 Acadia with its three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. It also comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, five years or 100,000 miles of 24/7 roadside assistance and courtesy transportation for the same period. The Hyundai Santa Fe comes with a longer warranty, which includes five years or 60,000 miles of basic coverage and 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage. However, the Acadia’s basic warranty is longer than Ford’s three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
J.D. Power gives the GMC brand an overall quality rating of three out of five, which is “about average.”
