The GMC Canyon comes with a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, as well as a five-year/100,000-mile transferable powertrain warranty. GMC also offers 24-hour roadside assistance for the length of the powertrain warranty. J.D. Power hasn’t yet rated the 2012 GMC Canyon, but it gives the very-similar 2011 model a predicted reliability rating of two and a half out of five, or slightly worse than “About average.”
