TeleNav GPS
Since it was first founded in 1999 as Televigation, there has been one company closely associated with forward thinking. The company is behind the software that powers AT&T Navigator and Sprint Navigation, it is the foremost navigation provider for cell phones, BlackBerrys and PDAs, while holding the distinction as the first company to provide GPS functionality for mobile phones in the United States. Now, TeleNav is expanding its reach by introducing its first GPS-dedicated device, the TeleNav Shotgun.
Tapping into the industry trend for more connectivity, TeleNav GPS makes its debut into portable devices by offering an Internet-connected GPS system, the Shotgun. But unlike the similar Dash Express (which has now been discontinued as Dash Navigation has disbanded), the Shotgun is marketed exclusively to business travelers.

The TeleNav Shotgun is only the second GPS-dedicated device to offer Internet connectivity. But its appeal lies more in its innovation than in its functionality.
