Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

When the Accord was redesigned for the 2008 model year, it departed somewhat from a long-established Accord design theme. The 2010 model keeps the angular lines and masculine shield grille of that 2008 model.. Coupe and Sedan body styles are different, though they share some similarities, and many writers find the coupe a much sexier choice.

  • "The Accord is also one of the few family sedans that's available in a coupe body style, and we should note that the coupe is substantially sportier than the workaday sedan." -- Edmunds
  • "The styling of the Accord sedan is tight and trim. The car has the tidy lines and lean cut of a well-tailored suit, and it contains hints of the Acura TL." -- The Family Car
  • "The sedan is as assertive as the coupe when viewed head-on, but it loses some presence as you move around to the sides and rear. The coupe has a chiseled look highlighted in front by a narrow mesh grille and bulging front fenders." -- Cars.com
  • "Certain staff members love to rip on the styling of the all-new model. Others hate having to constantly remind these guys they've misplaced their bifocals again." -- Motor Trend
  • "Holy cow, this car is ugly. In white, it looks like it was whittled out of a bar of prison soap." -- Los Angeles Times
