Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The 2009 Honda CR-V's conservative styling wasn't well liked. In fact, several reviewers criticized its front end and grille. For 2010, Honda has updated the front end with a new grille and replaces the wheels. Though it's too early for most reviewers to comment, those that have seen the new look say it's an improvement.

  • "The changes aren't radical -- a new two-bar chrome grille, a more cohesive front-bumper design with more painted surfaces, a larger painted area on the rear bumper, and a new 10-spoke design for the 17-inch alloy wheels -- but they do smooth the overall shape without resorting to any styling gimmickry." -- Car and Driver
  • "The front fascia now has more paint color instead of the black lower valence and the hood now is flush into the grille, instead of wrapping down and around." -- Consumer Reports
  • "The 2010 CR-V gets a restyled front fascia with a new grille and bumper, as well as a redesigned hood and rear bumper. Ten-spoke alloy wheels replace last year's seven-spoke design." -- Edmunds
