Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The new Insight has not been crash tested, and though it provides numerous safety features, stability control is not standard for the base trim.

Safety Features

The Honda Insight has dual-stage, dual threshold front air bags, front side air bags with a passenger side occupant detection sensor and side curtain air bags. Anti-lock brakes and Electronic Brake force Distribution are also standard for all trims, but Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control is only standard for the higher EX trim.
