Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The Honda S2000's exterior design is polarizing. While some critics think its menacing appearance fits its spectacular performance abilities, others believe that it looks comical. Most, however, agree that its eight-year-old base trim looks dated.

• "The S2000 strikes a very un-Honda like, somewhat wicked pose. When viewed from above, the S2000's flared front-wheel arches and tapered hood closely resemble an angry cobra about to strike: A fitting look, considering this car's performance potential." -- Kelley Blue Book
