The 2009 Hyundai Entourage is widely regarded as a very safe vehicle. It comes with more standard safety equipment (such as Electronic Stability Control) than most cars and it receives nearly-perfect scores in government crash tests. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety named the entourage a "Top Safety Pick." Standard crash protection features include six air bags and active front head restraints that provide extra protection against whiplash in rear-end collisions.
