Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The 2009 Hyundai Genesis achieves a top score of five stars in both frontal- and side-impact government crash tests. The Genesis also receives five stars for its ability to prevent a rollover. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not tested a Genesis. Eight airbags are standard. The Genesis includes standard active head restraints to help prevent whiplash injuries, and a "Smart Cruise Control" system that uses radar and speed adjustments to maintain distance from the vehicle in front of the car.
