In 2007, Motor Trend addressed the G's slight redesign by saying, "The overall design hangs together well … and remains instantly recognizable as a G35." Meanwhile, CNET sums up the view of most reviewers, saying, "The body of the G35 looks thoroughly modern."
Reviewers say the G35 sedan has an aura of speed and refinement, announcing the G35's power and handling before the key is turned. The Los Angeles Times says the G has a "very controlled, pure, even simple shape, especially when compared to competitors with their mad assortment of sheet metal contrails."
The Sport model has exterior additions that are popular with reviewers. "On the Sport model, the elegant, clean-looking exterior is dressed up with a more aggressive aero kit and 18-inch wheels," says Automobile.com. The G35's exterior styling is a perfect complement to the power and performance under the hood.
