The 2013 Infiniti QX56 offers seating for seven with a pair of second-row captain’s chairs, or eight if equipped with a second-row bench seat. Test drivers say that the QX56 is extremely comfortable in the first and second rows, and that the cabin offers good outward visibility as well as a spacious, open feel. The 2013 Infiniti QX56 comes with a moonroof, a power liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers, keyless access with push-button start, tri-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, navigation, Infiniti’s Around View (360-degree) camera system with front and rear parking sensors and a 13-speaker Bose stereo system with a USB port, auxiliary audio and video jacks and satellite radio. A technology package adds safety and driver assistance features that include adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning, as well as blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning systems.
Reviewers agree that the QX56 offers user-friendly controls and tech features that are easy to use. However, some also note that the driver aids that come with the optional technology package create more distractions than they would like. One test driver says that this is partially due to the QX56’s large size, which makes it easy to set off the lane departure warning system if you’re on smaller roads.
