The 2008 Isuzu i-290 is a compact pickup truck. One engine is available, a 2.9-liter four-cylinder with 185 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard though a four-speed automatic transmission with lockup torque converter is available. Rear-wheel drive is standard.
