Most auto writers complain that the 2014 Jeep Patriot's engines are loud and underpowered, but do they like what it offers in the cabin? Hi! I am Jim Sharifi with US News Best Cars. And in this video we will take a closer look at the Jeep Patriot's interior.
The 2014 Jeep Patriot comes with cloth seats or leather trimmed seats as an option. Test drivers find the front seats relatively comfortable and roomy but they say the back seats are cramped and don't offer enough leg room.
Critics are also unimpressed with the Jeep Patriot's cabin saying its hard plastic materials feel cheap and lack quality. On the other hand some experts note that the interior controls are straight forward and simple to use. Reviewers say the 2014 Patriot doesn't offer much room for cargo. Experts note that the Patriot offers fewer cubic feet than many compact SUVs, with 23 cubic feet behind the back seat and 53.5 cubic feet with the rear-seats folded. Critics agree that the Patriot has a large, legible gauges and straight forward controls that are easy to access. Some say the available touch screen navigation system is outdated and that it makes stereo adjustments more complicated than they should be. Typical standard features like air-conditioning and power windows are optional, as are features like Bluetooth and navigation.
