The Rondo comes with a five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. MSN calls the lengthy basic warranty, which is also featured on Hyundai's vehicles, "the most-generous new-car warranty in the auto industry." In addition to the basic warranty, the Rondo comes with an equally generous ten-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a five-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan.
calls the Rondo's reliability "less certain" because it's so new: "Consumer Reports hasn't published any information on it yet from its surveys of reader/owners; other Kias for which the magazine has data are average, except for the Sportage SUV, which is rated worse than average."
