Safety - What the Auto Press Says

Auto writers are silent about the '09 Gallardo's level of safety -- which isn't surprising, given that Lamborghinis are purchased on account of their design and performance attributes, not their safety systems. What's more, neither the federal government nor the insurance industry has crash tested the Gallardo. However, the Gallardo does feature a host of active and passive safety technology -- including front and side airbags, as well as a four-wheel drive system with traction control.
