Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The 2010 Land Rover LR4's exterior receives a very mild freshening. Changes to its front end include a new bar-style grille and new headlights. The taillights feature new clear lenses.

  • "The overall affects of the [exterior] freshening are very slight and aren't immediately obvious unless the LR4 is parked right next to an LR3. If the LR4 happens to be painted Nara Bronze, Bali Blue, or Ipanema Sand, it will be more noticeable as these colors are new for 2010." -- Automobile Magazine
  • "The exterior styling has been similarly tweaked to look more upscale; the unpainted plastic of the LR3 is now painted on the LR4. A new front bumper is another subtle change, as are new headlights and taillights." -- Car and Driver
  • "When it comes to interior and exterior styling, Land Rover's Design Director, Gerry McGovern, said it best: ‘They look the way they do because of what they do.' The aesthetic exterior improvements suit the vehicles' status and ability well." -- Road and Track
