Exterior - What the Auto Press Says
The Lexus ES has always been designed for conservative tastes, and subtle changes to the sheetmetal for 2010 have done nothing to break that tradition. A revised grille, a bit of added chrome, and more sharply defined lights in front and rear add to the tailored look of the ES, and serve to further distinguish it from the Toyota Camry, with which it shares some parts. But those wanting an aggressive-looking car will still want to consider the Cadillac CTS or Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
- “The 2010 Lexus ES350 will be a subtle update on the current fifth-generation model, in true Lexus style, with modest tweaks to the styling to keep it fresh for another few years. Nothing revolutionary, which means nothing to upset the model's conservative customer base, either.” -- Autoblog
- “For 2010, the ES350 gets a mild exterior freshening.” -- Edmunds
- "Changes on the outside include side mirrors with integrated turn signals, revised front grille, chrome body side molding, front bumper and rain-sensing wipers. The ES 350 also gets updated headlamps, lower intake with integrated foglamps and revised taillights." -- AutoWeek
- "The ES 350 looks like it belongs in a Lexus showroom." -- New Car Test Drive
