IntelliChoice awarded the 2007 Lexus RX SmartChoice Winner for Operating Costs and Repair Costs (both are low compared to other luxury midsize SUVs). Reliability accolades are common for the RX, and for Lexus in general. "The previous generation RX had an excellent repair and reliability record for both the engine and transmission," affirms Kelley Blue Book.
