Lexus provides a basic warranty for the first four years or 50,000 miles. The 2008 Lexus RX 400h's powertrain warranty is good for 72 months or 70,000 miles.
Auto writers express confidence that the Lexus RX 400h will have a reliability reputation similar to that of its model mates and of the Toyota brand in general. When comparing the Lexus RX to other hybrid models, Auto Mall USA reports "The RX 400h should hold its value well if the Prius is any indication; 2003 Prius models have held their value even better than Camry or Corolla."
