2015 Lincoln Navigator Review

The 2015 Lincoln Navigator is a luxury large SUV that has styling updates and a new EcoBoost V6 engine this year.

The 2015 Lincoln Navigator is powered by new turbocharged EcoBoost 3.0-liter V6 engine with 380 horsepower, which is 70 more than the V8 in the 2014 model produces. A six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard. Four-wheel drive is optional. The 2015 Navigator earns an EPA-estimated 16/22 mpg city/highway with rear-wheel drive and 15/20 mpg with four-wheel drive. Exterior changes include a redesigned grille and a restyled rear fascia with a new full-width taillight. Lincoln Drive Control, which monitors road conditions and accordingly adjusts suspension damping for a smoother ride, is newly available on the Navigator.

The 2015 Lincoln Navigator is available in two body styles; the standard Navigator and the long-wheelbase Navigator L. Behind the third row of seats, the Navigator L has 42.6 cubic feet of cargo space, while the standard Navigator has 18.1 cubic feet. Both models have seating for seven with the standard second-row bucket seats, and can seat up to eight with the optional three-person bench seat. Standard features on both Navigator models include leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, heated second-row seats, a rearview camera, a 14-speaker surround sound audio system, HD Radio, satellite radio, iPod integration, navigation and SYNC with MyLincoln Touch, which offers voice commands for phone and audio functions and has an 8-inch touch-screen display. Other standard features include front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and MyKey, which allows parents to set vehicle speed and audio volume limits for younger drivers. A sunroof and a rear-seat entertainment system are optional. The 2015 Lincoln Navigator starts $62,475 including destination fees.
