Reliability
The '09 Elise features a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, as well as eight years of protection against chassis corrosion. Compared to other vehicles in its class, the Elise -- as well as its sibling, the Exige -- provides the least amount of warranty coverage in the class of luxury sports cars. However, an extended service plan is also available.
