Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

One of the main reasons consumers consider the 2010 MINI Cooper is because of its distinctive styling, which has been described by reviewers as cute. Nothing has really changed about the Mini’s style for 2010, but those looking to distinguish their cars from previous model year MINIs should consider adding one of the two new packages that were introduced this year.

To celebrate MINI’s 50th Anniversary, they’ve introduced two special edition packages, each of which costs an additional $4,500 and features distinctive exterior styling options. The Mayfair offers exclusive hot chocolate body color with toffee-colored hood stripes and a 50th Birthday grille badge. The Camden offers exclusive white silver body color with Camden hood graphics and the same 50th Birthday grille badge.

  • "On the icy roads of the Austrian Alps, the new Cooper S Convertible shined like the Southern California sun." -- Road and Track
  • "In general, the latest Mini seems broader-shouldered and more aggressive than the last, and so departs even further from the narrow and square original." -- New Car Test Drive
  • "The second generation Convertible continues the spirit of the first with a low roadster-like roofline the gives the Convertible a rather jaunty attitude when not clocking time on the Openometer." -- Examiner.com
  • "Don't rush out and buy a Mini Cooper Convertible if you're the kind who wants everyone to know you've purchased a new car. Sure, it'll attract lots of attention, especially in the wide variety of new colors (we're partial to yellow, especially with the new dark-finish wheels that are exclusive to the Convertible), but nobody will realize it's new." -- Left Lane News
