The 2010 Mazda3 does well in federal government crash tests, earning five stars for driver and front passenger protection in frontal impact crash tests.  It also earns five stars for driver protection and four stars for passenger protection in side impact crash tests.  It has a four-star rollover rating.

Safety Features

The 2010 Mazda3 has advanced dual front air bags, side air bags and side curtain air bags. Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist are standard, but Dynamic Stability Control and Mazda's Traction Control System are optional for some trims.
