Safety - What the Auto Press Says

Though crash tests have yet to be conducted on the Mazdaspeed3, the Mazda3 - which has an identical structure - has been rated. According to the federal government, the Mazda3 earns four of five stars for front driver and passenger impacts, as well as rollovers. In crash tests conducted by the insurance industry, the Mazda3 earns a top rating of "good" for front crash tests.
