Power's automotive studies, specifically the Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and the Initial Quality Study (IQS).
Mercedes protects E-Class owners with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty that covers 48 months or 50,000 miles.
The warranty includes roadside assistance. In some cases, owners may also qualify for reimbursement of expenses if the car is undriveable due to a condition requiring warranty repair. Extended warranty coverage is available for an additional charge. Unlike most luxury car builders, Mercedes does not provide an additional powertrain warranty.
