Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The federal government has not yet tested the 2010 Mercedes GLK. However, rest assured that the GLK comes with plenty of standard safety features. These include six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program and adaptive brakes. The GLK's few safety options include Parktronic, a nearly $800 optional system that uses ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers to detect nearby objects.

  • "Nothing's been scrimped in terms of safety. The glassy, tall-roofed, slim-pillared GLK has few issues with visibility. And it features all the safety gear expected, including standard front, side and curtain airbags as well as stability control." -- The Car Connection
