Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The federal government gives the 2010 Mariner top scores of five stars for all seating positions in both frontal and side crash tests. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety "gives the Mariner top scores of "Good" in front, side and rear crash protection tests. For 2010, Mercury has added five new safety-related features: an integrated blind spot mirror for better blind spot visibility, a MyKey programmable vehicle key, a rearview camera system, Active Park Assist for parallel parking help, and an updated SYNC system with traffic information.
