Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The 2010 Eclipse has not yet been crash tested by the federal government or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The insurance industry does, however, give the highly-similar 2009 a rating of "Good" (the highest possible) in both frontal and side impact crashes.

Both the coupe and Spyder feature a wide array of standard safety technology -- including front airbags and front/rear crumple zones. Still, reviewers complain of visibility issues.
