2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Review

The 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer is an affordable small car that adds standard heated side view mirrors this year.

The 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer comes with a 148-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. GT models get a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 168 horsepower. Ralliart and Evolution models are powered by turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines that make 237 and 291 horsepower, respectively. Front-wheel drive and a five-speed manual transmission are standard. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is optional. Ralliart models come equipped with all-wheel drive and an automated manual transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. With the base engine and CVT, the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer earns an EPA-estimated 34 mpg on the highway. Ralliart models get 18/25 mpg city/highway.

The five-seat 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer comes standard with a four-speaker audio system, a tilt steering wheel, new heated side view mirrors and cloth seats. Optional features include a nine-speaker sound system with a 6.1-inch touch-screen display, satellite radio, HD Radio, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, navigation and Mitsubishi’s FUSE Hands Free Link system, which allows occupants to control audio and smartphone functions using voice commands.
