Exterior - What the Auto Press Says

The 2010 Rogue's curvy styling receives mixed reviews. For 2010, a 360 Value Package available for the base model adds exterior features including a chrome grille, rear spoiler, 16-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated rearview monitor, and privacy glass. The package costs $1,040 and should save buyers about $1,000 over buying the options separately.

  • "The look is hip -- unlike some in the class that tend to look a little bloated (we're not going to name any names). The only downside to this taut, sporty bodywork is that the rear window is so small as to compromise visibility." -- Popular Mechanics
  • "If I see one more SUV with sharp, upswept rear-quarter windows, I'll know it's time to start applying for jobs in automakers' design departments, seeing as they obviously can't come up with anything better. The Rogue is yet another victim of this hackneyed design, but surprisingly the generic profile glass doesn't lead to significant blind spots here like it does in some competitors." -- Cars.com
  • "If you like the modern looks of the Murano, you'll like the Rogue. All the journalists are calling it a mini Murano, and it's easy to see why." -- About.com
  • "Only the Rogue's grille (which is the same color as the car's body) detracts from its appearance. Nissan saved money here, and it shows." -- MSN
