Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The federal government gives the 2009 Pontiac Torrent top scores of five stars for driver and passenger safety in frontal crashes. However, it gets only four stars for front- and rear-seat safety in side crashes. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives it a top score of "Good" in frontal offset tests.
