Safety - What the Auto Press Says

As the 2010 Subaru Legacy is an entirely new design recently released for sale, not much safety data is yet available. Neither the federal government nor the insurance industry has yet released crash test results for the Legacy.

The Legacy comes standard with front, front-side and side head curtain airbags, as well as active head restraints to lower the risk of whiplash for front seat passengers. Stability and traction control are standard on all trim levels.
