The 2007 4Runner comes equipped with Toyota's basic 36-month/36,000-mile warranty. In addition to the basic warranty, the 4Runner's powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, seat belts and air bags for 60 months or 60,000 miles. A rust-through warranty covers corrosion perforation of sheet metal for 60 months, regardless of mileage.
The 4Runner earns a solid reliability outlook based on Toyota's dedication to "quality construction, durability and reliability," according to New Car Test Drive. Consumer Guide similarly notes that the 4Runner "delivers a satisfying array of available safety features, traction enhancers, and a reputation for reliability and high resale value."
