Reliability
Toyota offers warranty coverage on all of its cars, including a three-year/36,000-mile warranty, and a five-year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
The Avalon was included in a recent high-profile recall involving floormats that could trap the car's accelerator pedal, potentially causing the car to accelerate unexpectedly. Toyota dealers should have removed the floormats from all Avalons currently on sale, and will provide updated floormats to buyers as soon as they are available.
