2014 Toyota Prius V Video Transcript
Critics think the 2014 Toyota Prius V offers a comfortable ride and excellent fuel economy, but you will also find plenty of cargo space and interior features that are easy to use. Hi! I am Jim Sharifi, Senior Editor with US News Best Cars. In this video we will take a closer look at the Prius V's interior. Some automotive writers say that the Prius V's cabin features premium materials while others are let down by some cheap looking trim. Reviewers agree that all seating positions are comfortable and they especially like the back seats which offer generous legroom and also reclined and slide. The Toyota Prius V has 34.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 67.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. Reviewers are pleased with the amount of cargo space which is competitive for the class and more than what some compact SUVs offer.
Many note that the Prius V also has useful storage areas for small items. They also say the Prius V has easy to read buttons and gauges. And some note that the center-mounted instrument display seems unusual at first, but is easy to get used to. Standard features include a touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth a USB port and a back-up camera. Optional equipment includes navigation, adaptive cruise control and an automatic self parking system.
