The 2012 Toyota Prius is protected by a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Rust corrosion perforation is covered for five years and unlimited miles.
The Prius’ hybrid-related components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles. If you live in California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, New Mexico or Rhode Island, the hybrid components are protected for 15 years or 150,000 miles, and the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles.
Toyota Care comes standard on the 2012 Prius, covering scheduled maintenance for the first two years or 25,000 miles. It also includes 24-hour roadside assistance.
