Safety - What the Auto Press Says

The 2010 Sequoia hasn't been crash tested yet, but the 2009 Toyota Sequoia earned good safety scores from the federal government. It gets five out of five stars for driver protection and four out of five stars for front passenger protection in frontal crash tests. It has not been tested for side impacts. Both two- and four-wheel drive versions of the Sequoia have four-star rollover ratings. The insurance industry has not crash tested the Sequoia.

While all Sequoias come with rollover sensors, stability and traction control, as well as front, side and side-curtain airbags, optional safety features include front and rear sonar systems, a backup camera and dynamic laser cruise control.
