The best May Ford incentives may be the ones that allow you to take advantage of both low interest rate financing and cash back. Few other automakers offer such deals, which can save you a lot of money. Plus, Ford is offering more lease deals in May than it did the previous month.

Shoppers looking for a great purchase deal on an affordable midsize SUV can buy a 2013 Ford Edge with $2,500 cash back or zero percent financing for up to 60 months plus $1,000 cash back. That's better than the purchase deal that's currently available on the 2013 Toyota Venza in most areas of the country. The Venza is available with zero percent financing for up 60 months in May. Choosing the Edge with the zero percent financing and $1,000 cash will save you about $1,150.  

Affordable small car shoppers can find lease deals on the 2013 Ford Focus in most areas in May. The lease deals vary from $99 to $189 per month for 24 months with $2,208 to $3,543 due at signing, depending on where you live. If you want a longer lease period, lower monthly payment and lower cash due at signing, check out the 2013 Kia Forte sedan. In May, shoppers can lease the Kia Forte for $169 per month for 36 months with $1,999 due at signing. In addition to being a longer lease, the 2013 Kia Forte’s deal is a national deal, so you won’t have to worry which area the lease deal applies to.
