Best Hyundai Deals: May 2013 Lease and Purchase

Some May Hyundai purchase and lease offers are slightly different than last month’s Hyundai deals. Hyundai Elantra, Santa Fe and Sonata lease deals are slightly more expensive than they were last month. However, Hyundai has rolled out better sales incentives on some models, including the 2013 Sonata and Sonata Hybrid, which include no- and low-interest financing. Since Hyundai has mixed up its incentives for May, you may want to shop other brands to make sure you’re getting a good deal.
Shoppers looking for an affordable small car may like the Hyundai incentive on the 2013 Elantra sedan, which is available with zero-percent financing for five years. While the Elantra’s no-interest financing is attractive, you may be able to get a better deal. Starting at $16,965, the Elantra costs $765 more than the 2013 Ford Focus, which is available with zero-percent financing for five years plus $1,000 bonus cash. The Focus performs better in our rankings, and its lower base price and bonus cash will save you money. With no money down, you’ll save about $1,765 over the course of your five-year loan by choosing the Focus instead of the Elantra.
If you’re looking for a lease deal on a two-row midsize SUV, the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is available for $269 per month for 36 months with $3,199 due at signing. By comparison, the 2013 Nissan Murano is available this month for $329 per month for 39 months with $2,999 due at signing. The Santa Fe has a shorter lease and a down payment that’s $200 more expensive. However, it also performs better in our rankings and its monthly payments are $60 less than the Murano’s.
