Best Nissan Deals: November 2009 Lease and Purchase

Nissan has announced new deals and incentives for many of its top sellers from both the 2009 and 2010 model years. You can finance a 2009 Maxima for zero-percent APR for up to 60 months, or lease a 2010 Sentra for as low as $149 per month for 39 months. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, act fast. These deals will expire on November 30.

Serious car shoppers should also compare Nissan’s current offerings to other commonly cross-shopped vehicles. The Sentra, for example, competes with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. They all start at roughly the same price, but Nissan’s offering of zero-percent APR for up to 60 months bests both of its competitors’ financing deals. However, the 2010 Sentra’s lease deal of $149 to $179 per month (depending on region) for 39 months is on par with both the Civic and Corolla -- only they don’t require as large of a down payment, which makes them more affordable to the average consumer. 

Lastly, don’t be afraid to haggle. With poor sales and the need to sell off 2009 models to make room for the 2010s, dealers are willing to bargain. Not sure how to negotiate? For instance, the fast and furious Nissan GT-R’s MSRP is $80,790 to $83,040. However, the average priced paid for it ranges between $75,182 and $77,132.
