Best Subaru Deals: May 2013 Lease and Purchase

May Subaru deals are nearly identical to last month’s Subaru incentives. Subaru’s lease deals and financing deals are competitive with other automakers’ purchase and lease deals. Keep in mind that Subaru does not typically specify the length of the loan for its financing deals.
You can lease a 2013 Subaru Forester for $229 a month for 42 months with $1,929 due at signing in May. By comparison, you can lease a 2014 Mazda CX-5 in most regions for $219 a month for 36 months with $2,989 due at signing. Just keep in mind that Subaru’s lease deal on the Forester is six months longer, and the Forester comes standard with all-wheel drive, which isn’t included in Mazda’s promotional lease incentive for the CX-5.
If you’re shopping for an affordable midsize car, you can finance a 2013 Legacy at zero percent in May. While Subaru does not state a specific loan term, financing the $20,295 Legacy through Subaru at zero percent for three years will give you monthly payments of about $564 with no money down. By comparison, you can finance the $21,760 2013 Nissan Altima at zero percent for three years with an additional $500 bonus cash when you finance through Nissan. The Altima will cost you about $591 a month, which is $27 more per month than the Legacy. Additionally, the Legacy comes standard with all-wheel drive, which is unavailable on the Altima.
