NHTSA to Investigate Nissan, Jeep Vehicles for Safety Problems

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating owner complaints about Jeep Wrangler and Nissan Altima vehicles. The government agency is looking into 29 consumer complaints for airbag problems on 2007 and 2008 Jeep Wrangler SUVs and 20 complaints for brake problems on 2007 and 2008 Nissan Altima cars. Ford Increases Vehicle Prices

For the third time since January, Ford is raising prices on 2011 models. In May, Ford raised prices 0.4 percent, or an average of $124, per vehicle due to price increases for steel, aluminum, rubber, oil and other materials, the Detroit Free Press reports.
