Ford Minivans Investigated for Safety Issues

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced last week that it is investigating the Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans for three deaths involving their service jacks. The particular jacks being investigated come with the car so that the owner can change a tire if necessary. The agency is probing 205,661 minivans from model years 2004 and 2005 as a result of one death and three injuries that may have been caused when the vans’ jacks failed. Jaguar Will Add All-Wheel Drive Option to XF and XJ

The last Ford Crown Victoria was built this week, which ends the car’s more than 30-year production run. The Ford Crown Victoria is most recognized for being a taxi cab and police car. Kia Recalls 10,631 Sorento Models

Kia is recalling Sorento models from the 2007 to 2008 model years because the front passenger airbag could be turned off even when an adult is sitting in the front passenger seat.
