Chevrolet Reveals 2013 Camaro ZL1 Convertible at the LA Auto Show

We’ve gotten behind the wheel of the Camaro SS convertible, but if you’re looking for the ultimate in drop-top pony car performance, the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 convertible might be it. Set to go on sale in summer 2012, Chevrolet says the ZL1 features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that’s rated at 580 horsepower. Power is routed to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Pricing information is not yet available on the 2013 Camaro ZL1 convertible, but the 2012 Camaro ZL1 coupe will go on sale in spring 2012 with a starting price of $54,995.
