Mazda Recalls Tribute SUVs for Brake Problem

Mazda is recalling 52,390 Tribute SUVs from the 2001 and 2002 model years for a problem with their brakes. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the Tribute’s brake system could leak brake fluid. Jeep Liberty Investigated for Airbag Malfunction

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has expanded its investigation of Jeep Liberty SUVs for problems with their airbags. According to NHTSA, the problem could affect as many as 386,873 SUVs from model years 2002 and 2003. The Detroit Free Press writes that NHTSA is starting an engineering analysis of the faulty airbag electronics, which have caused 87 Jeep Liberty airbags to go off by surprise. BMW Announces Details for 2013 X6, 2012 Mini Roadster

More car shoppers are buying or are more strongly considering buying American brand cars, according to the 2012 J.D. Power and Associates Avoider Study.
