The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced today that BMW is recalling more than 32,000 vehicles that may have a defect that could lead to an electrical fire. NHTSA says the recall applies to BMW 5-Series, 5-Series Gran Turismo, 7-Series, X5 and X6 vehicles from model years 2008 through 2011 that are equipped with turbocharged V8 or V12 engines.
