i3 Prototype Showcases BMW's Future

BMW i3, BMW, i3 Concept Coupe Last year, the BMW i3 Concept Coupe was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show. BMW Recalls More Than 500,000 Cars

BMW has issued a voluntary recall of more than a half million 1-Series, 3-Series and Z4 models from the 2007 to 2012 model years. BMW says the cars could suffer engine stalling as a result of the loss of electrical power. The New York Times reports, "The automaker says the problem is caused by the wear and tear on the cable to the battery, which is located in the trunk. Hyundai Makes Throttle Override Devices Standard on All Models

Hyundai is now equipping all of its vehicles with a brake pedal electronic throttle override system.
