Luxury Car Market Hits Six-Year High

Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class Almost 400,000 new luxury vehicles were sold during the first quarter of 2013. This is the highest sales volume of luxury vehicles since 2007, Kelley Blue Book announced Thursday. In its New-Car Market Report, KBB.com says the average price luxury buyers paid for their new vehicle also increased. Cadillac to Build Plug-in Hybrid

Cadillac announced yesterday that it will begin building the Cadillac ELR plug-in hybrid coupe starting in late 2013. The Cadillac ELR is based on the Cadillac Converj, a concept vehicle unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in 2009. 2013 Cadillac Models Will Receive New Safety Technology

Cadillac is developing new safety technology that will debut in its two new sedans, the 2013 ATS and XTS, which will both go on sale later this year. Cadillac ATS Makes Debut in Detroit

The 2013 Cadillac ATS was unveiled Sunday at the Detroit Auto Show. The all-new Cadillac is a rear-wheel drive performance sedan that is smaller than the Cadillac CTS, and will deliver “quick, nimble and fun-to-drive dynamics,” Cadillac says in a press release.
